It was my birthday last week-end and I was spoilt rotten!
I had some wonderful gifts that my friends and family had really put a lot of thought into and I shall always treasure them.
We went out to dinner and my other half (whose birthday is on the same day!) chose a wine called Two Hands Angels Share. There was a lovely explanation on the bottle, which I bought home so that I could share it with you.
Apparently Angel Share refers to the small amount of wine that evaporates from oak barrels and medieval winemakers assumed that Angels watched over the wines and that they took their share!
I must confess that they had very little chance to take any of ours that night!!!
It made me aware though, of how much Angels feature in my life and the creativity that comes from that. I was reading this week, that being creative in any form is a great way of meditating and I think it is very true. By concentrating and enjoying the NOW of doing any kind of activity, from gardening, cooking, sewing to any form of artistic or musical expression is great for resting the mind and soul.
What about the snow?
I saw in one of the papers that they had split the page into two entitled the good and the bad. Now I know it can cause chaos and inconvenience, but I thought that the snow was magical and as I travelled home on Monday, everywhere looked like Narnia. There were snowmen and kids sleighing and many people not being able to resist a snowball or two! I rushed into the garden to take some photos and I would like to share one of these with you.

It always used to snow on my birthday when I was a little girl; in fact it snowed when I was born so it was even more special to me.
Each of the seasons has special Angels so working with them can help us to connect with cycles of nature. Angels of Winter have haloes of snowflakes and shimmering wings and can help with matters relating to the home, savings and improvements (very topical) and letting go of any fears, guilt or bad habits.
White is the colour that gives you space – a moment to reflect and rest before the renewal of spring.
The snowdrops are almost there so it won’t be long before I am going on about my walks again. Ah well…………..!
PS Beware of merry Angels x
