Well, we are really into the New Year now and although I had a very hectic Christmas, the run up to New Year was much quieter, with a trip up to Tynemouth and long walks on the beach – cold but wonderful. New Years Eve was even quieter and I ended up going to bed at 11.00!!
I decided to look through my journal that I have been writing all year. I had written about these key areas of my life - health and body, relationships, home, work, creative expression, travel and adventure, possessions, spiritual and how I wanted to improve and develop them.
As I read, I realised that I had achieved some of these things but not as many as I would have liked so I have made these my resolutions and turned them into mood boards with affirmations, Angels and words. I have been wanting to do this all year and had been collecting pictures, ideas etc for ages.
It took me 3 days but I really enjoyed it and was like a woman possessed. I have them hanging up where I can see them all the time and it has helped clarify my aims and ambitions.
A simple mood board , is really easy to get started – just collect lots of pictures, words, symbols etc. of things that you feel you would like to have in your life. Then arrange them on a board and hang or place where you can see it.
