Well it’s almost here, but despite being really well organised (I started shopping weeks ago), I have been really stressed. Today I have to admit I have been in the foulest mood and have tried to fall out with everyone I know!!
I tried to look at this from a spiritual point of view and remain calm, focused and full of gratitude BUT what I really found worked was having a whisky in my coffee, putting on a really sad CD and having a good cry and rant!!!
This time of year can bring its share of sadness, as well as the happy expectations of a child and it’s a time when memories of loved ones are so vivid that in almost everything you do, you share a special memory.
There are also the disappointments along with the surprises and a feeling that you are doing everything that everyone else wants to do. Remember to cherish yourself a little this year, and even put a gift from yourself under the tree!
Sonia Choquette said this in her newsletter:
"It's creative and fun to make plans, to set intentions, and to look forward to things. But it is also important to be OK with whatever unfolds, go with the flow, and recognize all the blessings and accept all the gifts life brings about no matter what."
So with all this wisdom in mind, have a very merry Christmas, full of Angel blessings and when the going get tough – get out the whisky or the sherry or……..xxx
